Stage and Cabaret

Variety acts:

Although designed for theatre performance, both of these acts are also suitable for a cabaret environment. If required, band parts for up to a six-piece band can be supplied for all of Roy's "silent" magic performances.

The "Prize-winning act".

A highly theatrical act containing both skilful sleight of hand with coins and highly dramatic magic with a floating ball and the linking rings.

Duration: 11 minutes.

 

 

The "Lewis Davenport act".


This classic act fits perfectly into an old time music hall show and is historically accurate, see Lewis Davenport page. Roy utilizes his world class manipulative skills with thimbles and billiard balls during an act presenting tricks which are rarely seen today.

Cabaret Magic:

An act full of fun and carefully selected tricks such as the "cut and restored rope" and the "card in Balloon" which can be performed in any situation, Roy has even been known to leap on to a chair so that all the guests at a dinner could see the routine properly.

Duration: up to 35 minutes.

After Dinner Speaking; a talk on the 110-year history of my magical family:

Roy has always been enthralled with the stories of the previous three generations of magicians in his family. It is an absolute delight to him to have the opportunity to share over a century of history, a very entertaining talk illustrated throughout with demonstrations of magic tricks from the famous Davenports collection.

Duration: up to 2 hours!

One man show:

This combines all of the above and more to give a complete show. It works very well with a live piano accompaniment, which Roy is happy to supply.
